JCI Basel strongly present at the 26th European Academy 2023 in Sweden

3 of us had the absolute privilege to simultaneously experience the wonder that is the European Academy, by joining the 26th edition in Sweden. In order to introduce it somehow personalized, somehow short & sweet, find our own takes on the experience below.

Daniel:

Expect the unexpected…

I was told by many Jaycees how the European Academy can even be life-changing, so you can imagine that I went in with rather high expectations. Well, those expectations have been shattered together with an incredible amount of respect to all the organizers.

Highly-highly recommended to attend, it really is an unforgettable experience.

Jasmin:

It is an incredible time of about 4 days that leads to new friendships and unforgettable memories but also invites you on a journey of self-leadership and growth. Attending the EA is entering a world that you have definitely not known before!

For me personally the EA set a frame where I could finally get answers to questions that kept me busy for a very long time. It was the perfect time and setting to bring threads together and help me understand my role and purpose within JCI as well as my personal (business) life.

Karina:

I approached JCI EA with the goal to be present and attend with an open mind & no expectations, I was lucky enough for it to conversely return to me an unforgettable experience, which will leave me with everlasting memories and endless ideas on how to challenge myself as a leader and as a team member.  As all will say who attend, to preserve the magic there are little of the details I will share, but what I will say is that I’m consistently impressed by is the bountiful opportunities there are within JCI to learn, grow, connect & challenge yourself.  Go Team 7!

We would like to extend a huge thank you to all the organizers/COC members, all the trainers/supporters from all over Europe and the Board all working on making the European Academy always great.
