Reflections on the JCI European Conference 2025 – Herning, Denmark

Attending the JCI European Conference in Herning was a wonderful experience filled with connection, collaboration, and inspiration. JCI Denmark—and especially the COC—did an outstanding job organising a dynamic, welcoming, and high-impact event that truly showcased the best of our JCI spirit.

One of the absolute highlights was participating in the English debating competition, where I joined a team of fellow JCI members—most of whom I had just met! Despite having only a short time to strategize together, we quickly found our rhythm, united by shared values and a spirit of friendly competition. It was a true testament to what’s possible when passionate individuals come together.

A special thank you to Deborah, who joined me in proudly representing JCI Basel throughout the week. From workshops and trainings to social events and spontaneous hallway conversations, we made the most of every moment—and had a lot of fun along the way!

Herning brought together incredible energy, meaningful dialogue, and lasting memories. I’m leaving the conference not only with new skills, but also with a stronger belief in the JCI mission and a wider network of friends from across Europe.
