Spargel Dinner – Sulzbach, Germany

Wirtschaftsjunioren Freiburg invited JCI Basel for a Spargel dinner in a beautiful scenic, idyllic location in Sulzbach in the heart of Black forest area. Asparagus (Spargel) is a perennial flowering plant and their young shoots are used as spring vegetable. The restaurant owner from Sulzbach Straussi made a great presentation on how the Spargel is cultivated in the nearby areas before they are brought to the Gastronomy. He did a splendid tour also on the brewery, the machines and their functionalities.

It was a great experience for JCI Basel to meet new friends, exchange ideas for further collaborations, projects and events in the future.  JCI Basel take this opportunity to thank WJ Freiburg for organizing such a wonderful event and JCI Basel is looking forward for many such events, exchanges in the future with WJ Freiburg. The weather stayed absolutely fine with a great sunset across the picturesque Black forest mountains.
